You are looking at: NEC XG-135 CRT Front View Projector.
Considered one of the best movie projectors around. A well converged XG 135 is hard to beat WRT color accuracy, flesh-tones and black levels, specially compared to digital ones. It has had light usage and is in excellent working condition with a beautiful picture and no noticeable scratches or marks anywhere. Comes complete with a service and a user remote.

It is fully operational with very light usage, since I have mainly had it as a backup for my main Home Theater/AV setup (I have 2 of these beasts). It has 4041 hrs. of total usage and comes with the original tubes with a lot of remaining life left on them. I have used the projector mostly for movies (16:9 and wider) and HD content so it has no text or image burn-in (see pictures).
NEC projectors have a very strong following in the video forums and there are plenty of knowledgeable people to assist in the installation and convergence of these projectors. See below for links.
It will accept almost anything you feed it: 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i, or any customized HTPC setting you may choose. It is extremely flexible, handles up to 2500x2000 pixel resolution and with the 100 memory locations you can basically customize (and optimize) any setting. I have succesfully used it with HD content (720p and 1080i): XBox 360, DirecTV, DirecTV-HD, SD-DVD player, HTPC at 1600x1200, 1024x768, 1280x900, etc.
The projector will be palletized and shipped insured through a freight company, not UPS or FedEx. Shipping should run $250 cross country, but exact quote will be determined at time of shipment. The unit can also be picked up locally in Fremont, CA.
